Event: Cosfest 2007: The Golden Experience (Cosplay Event)

Last weekend was Cosfest (Day 2-3) at Downtown East. I managed to get an exhibitor booth for 2 days, and Ling was there to help mend the store. It was a pity that Roy and Wilson did not join us, and as usual, Cosfest is always fun. I managed to catch up with some friends and took a lot of pictures. I'll write more as the pictures load. A picture paints a thousand words.

Black Alice; our booth during Cosfest. Much thanks to all those who came to visit us! I think it was a little smaller than expected, but nevertheless, I think we managed to make it look pretty.

Itsumi from He is My Master. This is Pearl, one of my friends. I couldn't recognize her at first, until she started speaking.

Ah-hah! I spotted Chiaki this time. We managed to chit chat a little, and got her friend to take this for us. This was my outfit for Day 1.

By some rare chance I managed to get a picture of Lacus and her gang.

Me and Ling on Day 2. Yes, Ling is in lolita. Prettiness. Most of our popular booth's stuff were sold on the 1st day, leaving us with a big drop in sales on Day 2. Nevertheless, it was a great learning experience.

Another shot, Tiara version of Ling. Ling looks pretty in lolita. Correction: Ling is pretty in lolita. She somehow fits headdresses more than headbands.

Chise from Saikano. Yuan Le's favourite. He waited 2,000 years to get a picture to be taken with her.

Me and Jingna. Goodness I look so short here; she cheated on her height!

Very pretty Yuna costume. Those sleeves are very hard to make.

Inuran. Maid version of Saber from Fate Stay Night.

Pearl again. She was posing non-stop for the camera. Lots of photogs.

Xiaoyun and myself. Pretty Baby skirt! Why do lolitas like to cheat on their height?

This Yuki is cosplayed by a guy.

Me and Chiaki on Day 2. Believe me, she's shorter than me. Mary Janes are like gamesharks. She was the one who managed to spot me on Day 2. I almost couldn't recognize her!

I recognize the girl on the extreme left with slightly green hair; she's sometimes in lolita.

The Twelve Kingdoms. I didn't really expect people to cosplay this; pretty rare.

Shirololi! I like her dress and parasol; it's so pretty! She told me that her parasol is from Angelic Pretty. I wanted to take a picture together with her, but I had no friends around me then.

Lolitas! I caught Shaoyang looking at her reflection and adjusting her dress; really amusing sight. Thank you for the strawberries! xD

She was in punk on Day 1; I asked her for a shot. She has a pretty costume!

I grabbed her out for a shot as well. Thanks to Bao Zhong for helping me with this shot.

Wahahah! Ling tried on one of our headbands on Yuan Le. Very sporty shot.

All and all, Cosfest 2007 was a blast! It was a really tiring 2 days, and thanks to Ling, we were able to sell quite a number of stuff from our booth. As we move more and more into the development of Black Alice, the direction seems to get clearer and clearer. For that, I am really very happy. Once again, I thank everyone who gave me permission to take pictures of and with, and I hope to catch up with more friends during the next event. See you then!
